1. Digital Business Models
This section explored how digital technologies enable new
forms of value creation and delivery. It emphasized that not all online
businesses are truly digital—a digital business must be scalable,
technology-driven, and capable of leveraging data for growth.
· We studied several models:
· Freemium: Offering basic
services for free while monetizing premium features.
· Subscription-based:
Ensuring recurring revenue through regular payments.
· Two-sided marketplaces:
Platforms like Airbnb that connect providers and consumers.
· On-demand services:
Real-time, user-driven access to services (e.g., Uber).
· Ad-supported and hidden
revenue models: Monetizing user attention or data.
2. Lean Startup and MVP Testing
The Lean Startup methodology was a central theme. We learned
how to develop a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to test hypotheses with minimal
resources, use validated learning to iterate and improve, and apply calls to
action (CTAs) to measure user interest and engagement. This approach reduces
risk and accelerates innovation by focusing on real user feedback rather than
assumptions.
3. Prototyping and Evolutive Software
We practiced rapid prototyping using tools like Figma for
collaborative interface design and Just in mind for interactive wireframes and
user flows. The concept of evolutive software taught us to release early,
gather feedback, and continuously improve the product rather than waiting for a
perfect version.
4. Agile Project Management with Scrum
We studied Scrum, an agile framework that supports iterative
development and team collaboration. Key components included:
· Roles: Product Owner,
ScrumMaster, and Development Team.
· Ceremonies: Sprint
Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
· Artifacts: Product Backlog,
Sprint Backlog, and Burndown Charts.
We also used Trello to simulate task management and
visualize workflow using Kanban boards.
5. Digital Presence and Web Strategy
We analyzed how to design and manage a digital presence,
focusing on website usability and accessibility, search engine optimization
(SEO), and social media integration. We also created our own blogs using
Blogger, applying design principles and content strategy.
6. Legal and Ethical Aspects of Digital Business
The final unit focused on the legal frameworks that govern
digital entrepreneurship, including business structures (sole proprietorships,
partnerships, LLCs, and corporations), partnership agreements, intellectual
property (IP), and data protection and GDPR compliance. This unit emphasized
the importance of legal literacy for entrepreneurs operating in digital
environments.

design and prototyping
· Just in mind – Interactive
wireframing

project management
· Miro – Visual collaboration
and brainstorming
